M.D. Charlton is a leading supplier of law enforcement, security, and military equipment. We are a proudly Canadian company, with locations across Canada. We are looking for a self-driven Retail Sales Associate that can work together with Law Enforcement, Security, Military, Fire, and EMS Services to provide the equipment solutions they require to get the job done.

**Education & Experience**
- Previous experience in Public Safety, Law Enforcement, Fire /EMS, or Government sales is preferred.
- Customer service, order entry and customer follow-up.
- Strong background in Microsoft Office and various database systems.
- Excellent selling and communication skills.

**Description Of Job Duties**
- Assist/attend to customers in the sales showroom/store
- Prepare Point of Sale invoices for in-store customers
- Process credit, debit, or cash payments
- Count and balance retail sales
- Prepare and deposit cash receipts at bank
- Process returns for product under warranty
- Convert quotes to sales orders or prepare sales orders for clients
- Pick pack, ship and invoice customer orders
- Follow up with Outside Sales Reps and follow up with customers
- Verify stock levels of retail store and restock shelves
- Receive inbound products and transfers.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts

**Requirements**:
A criminal background check is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
