Edmonton Lock & Safe is looking for a new Apprentice Locksmith to join our team. As a new Apprentice, you will start out in our Retail Department where you will be exposed to all Locksmithing has to offer, including, but not limited to:

- Key Cutting
- Pinning Non-Restricted Cylinders
- Changing Mechanical Safe Lock Combinations
- Decoding Keys & Discs
- Hand Writing a Master Key System Bitting Array

Training will also include ride-alongs with our Journeymen Locksmiths as you work toward your transition to full-time Road Technician.

**Main Job Functions**:

- Commit to ongoing training as an Apprentice Locksmith
- Provide exceptional customer service for all walk-in customers
- Solve problems, troubleshoot, and possess a high desire to learn

**Requirements**:

- General understanding of basic point of sale systems
- Adhere to the company's core values: Relentless Learner, Energetic Professional, Intentional Kindness and Surprising Compassion

**Assets**:

- WHMIS
- First Aid
- Trades Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Typical hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
