Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible of developing and implementing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production processes of a fast-paced operating construction site. More specifically, you will have to:

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with railroad industry standards and regulatory requirements;
- Develop a complete understanding of contract plans, specifications, applicable codes, and jurisdictional requirements;
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the project scope, schedule, inspection, testing, and quality documentation, organize and maintain inspection and testing documentation;
- Provide guidance to construction supervision regarding the project specific quality process and to ensure the requirements of the ITP are met;
- Report and document Non-Conformance when they occur. Assist in ensuring rework is tracked. Propose corrective and preventive actions;
- Be involved in and provide inspection and testing input to with project team;
- Coordinate with third party testing agencies and ensure that status logs are maintained;
- Do all other related tasks.

- Thoroughly understand all aspects of track construction and maintenance, including the ability to read and understand construction drawing and technical specifications;
- Possess 3-5 years experience in quality control role;
- Have previous experience in Canada or North America and in LRT projects (an asset);
- Have a valid drivers license (G for Ontario or 5 for Quebec) and good driving record;
- Provide leadership and guidance for field management staff;
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Be willing to travel away from home at times, as is required, some weekends and night work;
- Have the ability to speak/read/write in French language (This is an asset)

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
