**Our expectations**:
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Inventory Coordinator (slotting item setup will be the main focus) is part of a team responsible for providing support to distribution operations and stores. The Inventory Coordinator (slotting item setup) provides support for Operations and Supply Chain, inluding compliance management, item setup, inventory health analysis and general slotting of items. The inventory Coordinator (slotting item setup) may support multiple facilities, including hardware, bulk goods, and lumber, and may focus on one or more areas of responsibility. Cross-training in all areas of responsibility will be required.
- **Location**: Milton Distribution Center
- **Shift**: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

**Your role**:

- Data entry in WMS (Warehouse Management System) of inventory location planning; decision-making regarding inventory moves between Distribution Centers and within
- Analyze the efficiency and optimization of the inhouse inventory slotting
- Collaborate with various teams in supply chain on projects and initiatives
- Analyze inventory health in each Distribution Center, ensure that slow moving stock is not located in prime locations. Maintain efficiency of operational product flow
- Verify new item setup and ensure it's correct; check and balance on Supply Chain setup to ensure right items are in proper Distribution Center
- Work with Inventory and Operations teams to investigate issues such as unit of measures issues, slotting configuration, item modifications
- Ensure vendors are compliant with established item configurations and communicate with Operations findings opportunities
- Perform other duties as required

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- 2-3 years of inventory experience (slotting and items setup) in a warehouse environment
- Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) (required); experience with Blue Yonder (a strong asset)
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Access/Excel
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and creatively resolve complex problems
- Ability to multitask and handle change well
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport and trust with others
- Ability to build a culture of safety among peers
