Overnight Cleaner

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent **Overnight Cleaner** for our Freezer Facility in Brockville, ON GTW can offer paid material handling equipment training on brand-new Raymond equipment, full medical/dental benefits, and a store discount.

**Overnight Cleaner Highlights**:

- Clean with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards.
- Remove all refuse from garbage bins, recycle bins and building daily, ensuring that trash cans is empty and clean.
- Clean work areas within warehouse floor.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed effectively and safely.
- Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained.
- Prepare complete and accurate records and reports as required.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the facility.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety in accordance with OSHA, applicable legislation, and company policies & procedures

**Overnight Cleaner Job Requirements**:

- Completion of High School or equivalent;
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, maintenance experience an asset;
- Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization;
- Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision and standing/walking/lifting for extended periods.
- Experience operating power scrubbers and sweepers, power pallet truck, compactor or bailers an asset.
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment.

**Overnight Cleaner Schedule**:
Sunday - Thursday 11:30pm - 8:00am

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
