Assistant Operations Manager

**Job Summary**
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse and store operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient processes and maintaining high levels of productivity and customer service within the warehouse and store.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Communicate and place orders with suppliers
- Resolve customer complaints, order errors and other order related issues
- Implement and optimize operational procedures to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations
- Calculate and maintain accurate cost and retail pricing of product catalog
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada Cosmetic regulations for new products
- Measure key performance metrics and complete monthly reporting
- Perform a wide range of administrative tasks
- Address any operational and store issues promptly and effectively
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a benefit
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical work as needed
- Proficiency in data analysis skills to interpret operational metrics
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with computerized systems (shopify, excel) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff and management
- Experience in office administration or related field would be beneficial
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
