**Community Disability Services Worker**

**Position Summary**

**What You'll Do**:

- Help individuals accessing services with personal development, community involvement, positive behavior supports and/or personal care
- Collaborate with the team and individuals accessing services through the Human Centered Design Process
- Support the individuals’ desires, goals, and life choices by interacting and advocating with the individual accessing services
- Demonstrate personable skills for individuals to build relationships with others in programs at Chrysalis
- Create a trusting and respectful environment where individuals accessing service feel comfortable expressing their needs and goals. Encourage and support their participation in social, educational, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of those you support and their progress, incidents, and service delivery ensuring compliance and relevant regulations and standards at Chrysalis

**What We Need From You**:

- 6+ months of relevant work experience working with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.20 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
