Estimator/sales Representative

Leduc, Canada Alberta Vinyl Decking & Railing Ltd. Full time

**Site Visits & Job Assessment**:

- Travel to job sites to assess the scope of work required for decking construction, renovation projects, or other related services.
- Take precise measurements of the job site, including dimensions, angles, and other relevant factors.
- Identify potential challenges or special considerations that could impact the estimate or project timeline

**Estimating & Proposal Preparation**:

- Generate accurate, detailed estimates based on site measurements and job scope.
- Develop clear and concise proposals that include pricing, materials, labor, and other relevant costs.
- Ensure estimates align with company pricing structures and market trends.

**Client Consultation & Follow-Up**:

- Meet with clients to discuss project goals, expectations, and budgetary requirements.
- Provide professional advice on design options, materials, and potential cost-saving strategies.
- Follow up with clients after initial site visits to provide estimates, answer questions, and clarify details.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the estimating process to ensure satisfaction and transparency.

**Project Management Coordination**:

- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate and timely scheduling of projects once estimates are approved.
- Monitor progress during the project to ensure adherence to the original estimate and client specifications.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience in decking construction, home renovation, and related industries.
- Proficiency with measuring tools (e.g., tape measures, laser levels, calipers).
- Familiarity with software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools for estimation and sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects at once.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling administrative tasks alongside fieldwork.
- Ability to identify and solve problems on the job site.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
