**Job Summary**

We are seeking a professional, organized, and caring Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for families—and play a vital role in ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly. This role will involve front-desk duties, appointment coordination, patient triage, billing support, and more.

**Key Responsibilities**

Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism

Manage patient check-ins/check-outs; confirm appointments; update patient records

Answer and triage incoming phone calls, take messages accurately

Schedule referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments

Obtain and verify patient insurance and demographic information

Enter charges, process payments, and issue receipts

Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient flow

Maintain tidy waiting and reception areas; restock reading materials and sanitizing supplies

Ensuring patient rooms are tidy and clean

Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to PHIPA/HIPAA regulations

**Qualifications Preferred**:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist, preferably in pediatrics or family medicine

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfort in working with children and caregivers

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in billing and data entry

Professional appearance and a compassionate demeanor

**Schedule & Shifts**

Part-time: 3-4 days/week (e.g., Monday-Friday, split shifts, or weekend shift as needed)

Typical hours: 12pm-5pm, depending on clinic needs
