Bookkeeper

**The following skills are needed**:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping for the company using Sage 50
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 50
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and reporting
- Tax receipt preperation and T4 preperation
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
**Requirements**:
- Degree or diploma in business with a focus on bookkeeping/accounting or equivalent experience with a proficience with Sage 50
- Thorough knowledge of all relevant Federal, Provicial, and local requirements regarding financial records and reporting
- Proficient in using Sage 50
- Strong knowledge of account analysis and reconciliation principles
- Familiarity with budgeting and payroll processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a school office environement where there will be distractions
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations
