Barista/server/cashier

**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to exceptional customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during shifts.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for patrons.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.70-$18.71 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
