**Job Opening: Resort Condo Building Maintenance & Grounds Technician**
**Location**: Ocean Trails Resort (Strata VIS2118), Parksville, BC
**Position**: Full-time, Permanent

**Overview**:
Ocean Trails Resort is seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our maintenance team. This role requires hands-on expertise in both grounds, building maintenance, and interior condo maintenance & repairs ensuring the upkeep of our facilities and the satisfaction of our guests. As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep the resort in top condition.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Grounds Maintenance**: Regular upkeep of lawns, flower gardens, and surrounding grounds.
- **Pool & Hot Tub Care**: Daily maintenance, cleaning, and chemical testing to ensure optimal operation.
- **Water Systems**:routine testing of the water system, reservoir and sprinkler system.
- **Septic System**: Maintenance and basic troubleshooting as needed.
- **Building Maintenance**: General repairs and upkeep of both interior and exterior structures including interior repairs & maintenance of rental condos.
- **Tools & Equipment**: Operation and care of power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role or related experience.
- **Skills**: Strong mechanical, repairs and grounds maintenance knowledge. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
- **Physical Fitness**: Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks and working in various weather conditions.
- **License & Transportation**: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- **Personal Traits**: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
