Global Controls Incorporated has a new and exciting opportunity for control panel assembly at our Balzac facility. GCI has recently landed a new long term contract within the technology sector and outlook for continued employment is extremely bright. We are looking for engaged and energetic individuals with mechanical and assembly experience to join our team. On site training to be provided.
- Shop environment, assembly line for control panel fabrication
- Experience in control panel fabrication considered and asset, however not required and training to be provided. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools is a requirement.
- Electrical panel layout and installation of electrical equipment.
- Perform point-to-point wiring, knowledge of standard wiring procedures which includes proper wire routing, stripping, crimping and proper wire termination is considered and asset.
- Good in metal cutting, drilling, tapping etc.
- Work experience on Schneider, Rockwell PLCs, Emerson ROC/Floboss, ScadaPack control panels, Lighting/Motor Contactor and VFD Panels is an asset.
- Wiring of any electrical components and support to other departments
- CSA/CEC/UL standards knowledge and experience is an asset
- Responsible for daily housekeeping and keeping working area clean
- Use of various hand and power tools
- Well Organized and extreme attention to detail is a requirement.
- Basic hand tools required
- Steel toed Safety boots required
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs
- Safety training required (WHIMIS, CSTS and First Aid )
