**Position Description**:

- Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes, and wires.
- Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques.
- Operate or tend automated assembling equipment, such as robotics and fixed automation equipment.
- Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts as required.
- Assembly of custom and inventory valves and preparing orders for shipping.
- Valve assembly based on production work order and/or designs for customer order or stock.
- Installation of actuators and control devices such as pneumatic cylinder, positioner, solenoid valves and limit switch.
- Calibrating of designated product lines.
- Repairs and conducting testing of products pr our ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
- Run and record final tests and prepare production orders for shipping.
- Assist in inventory control through physical counts and relocation.
- Maintains adequate inventory of spare parts.
- Operation of machinery including the drill press, grinder, sander, hydraulic wrench, and forklift.
- Adjust and add modifications of valve components when needed by utilizing other members of the team and related equipment.
- Must be able to maintain equipment and keep a clean work environment and station.
- Weekly cleanup of production area.
- Label all valves with product identification.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Production Supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of three to five years of mechanical labour experience in an industrial environment.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Experience with operating a forklift.

**Competencies**:

- Possess excellent manual dexterity and an eye for detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items (up to 65 lbs)
- Team player while being able to work independently when needed.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Attentive and on time.
- Flexible with responsibilities
- Worked within a company with a Quality Assurance Program.
- WHMIS and/or First Aide Certificate.

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:
