**The Chateau Lacombe Hotel** in Edmonton is currently looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our growing team as a **Bell Person.**

A Bell person is responsible for greeting all guests in a courteous manner and assisting them with their luggage and transportation, keeping the hotel entrance clean and tidy, and other miscellaneous duties. You will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager and will work closely with the Front Desk Staff, Manager on Duty, and other hotel departments on a regular basis.

**Responsibilities and Essential Duties**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, and help them with their luggage
- Handling and addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Be familiar with all hotel services, restaurants, and local attractions, and respond to guests’ inquiries accurately
- Park and/or retrieve guest vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Direct traffic at the property entrance and proactively provide assistance when necessary
- Take pride in ensuring the cleanliness of the work area at all times including the hotel entrance
- Accurately communicate with other shifts regarding issues arising from day-to-day operations
- To notify the supervisor of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest services
- Other duties as required

**Job Specifications and Skills**:

- Previous hospitality experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal essential
- Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills
- Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and push/pull luggage carts (20-50 lbs)
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
