Mississauga, Canada National Event Supply Full time

**Summary**

National Event Supply is one of Canada’s leading factory-direct wholesalers to the party and event rental, foodservice and hospitality industry. The National Event Supply team is looking for a full time warehouse shipper/receiver for our Mississauga, Ontario warehouse location. This role will involve you in all aspects of our warehousing, shipping and receiving operations. You will work closely with all members of the National Event Supply team to ensure orders are picked, packed and sent out promptly, shipments are received accurately, and the warehouse is well structured and organized. Hours are 8:30AM-5PM with 30m for lunch.

**Key areas of responsibility (include but not limited to)**
- Picking and Packing orders with accuracy for customer pick up, small package shipping, and/or LTL freight shipping.
- Pack shipments to prevent damage in transit
- Handle return orders
- Receiving, Documenting, and ensuring accuracy of inbound containers/transfers
- Shipping, Documenting, and ensuring accuracy of outbound shipments
- Organizing the warehouse to ensure fire safety codes are met
- Keeping the warehouse clean (sweeping).
- Unloading Containers (not on Pallets), package weights from 20lbs to as much as 150lbs
- Labeling Products
- Performing Inventory Counts on a regular basis, quarterly for main products
- Obtain Shipping quotes and print out shipping labels (when necessary)
- Help customers (when necessary) load products into their trucks/vans/vehicles
- Collect garbage from office and warehouse on a weekly basis and put in dumpster

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 2-3 years shipping/receiving experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fork Lift certification mandatory
- Experience using Raymond reach truck
- Ability to prioritize work by importance
- Health and safety experience **an asset.**:

- Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- This job posting will be for a 6 month contract with the potential for a full-time, permanent position with our organization._

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
