**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Production teams to ensure work orders are released on time to meet required delivery dates. Create target times for the production floor based on understanding of planning and sequencing of manufacturing activities
- Timely creation of weekly and daily production schedules and sequences for use in production execution and responsible for preparing performance reports that measure progress
- Manage inventory levels by working closing with the Purchasing team to ensure availability of material resources when needed
- Operate and maintain the plant according to instructions, procedures and operation profile and follows the objectives and projects set by management and ensures they are met
- Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Implement project planning procedures in accordance with standards as well as preparing and maintaining the timeline for development and setup of various schedules
- Perform Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Skills**
- A College/university degree in business, production management or related field is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Preferred 1 year of progressive experience as a planner in manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills considered as an asset
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, understanding of product variations and strong safety knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Theory of Constraints would be considered an asset

**Schedule**
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
- Overtime as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
