**Overview**

The Saskatchewan Research Council’s (SRC) Research and Technology - Lab Services Division has an opening for an Air Quality Summer Student. This position will assist with a major process improvement through standardizing and updating spreadsheets for the team. It will require working extensively with excel and collaboration with team members to learn about stack sampling, reporting and project requirements. This position is a 4-month term, from May to August 2025.

**Accountabilities**
- Contribute to the development of standardized spreadsheets which will support an environmental data management system
- Create linkages between Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
- Convert equations from technical documents into Excel formulas
- Collaborate with Air Quality team members to identify efficiency and requirements for the improvement of standardized spreadsheets
- Read and understand technical documents to gain a strong understanding of the work Air Quality does and their projects

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of post-secondary education in a STEM-related field, with first-year Chemistry classes or equivalent completed
- Experience with Office 365, Python, and databases would be considered an asset
- Proficiency with Excel is required

**Skills**
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Team player with effective interpersonal, communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
