**Summary/Objective**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Travel to client sites and operate the Abrasive Blasting unit to clean and prepare surfaces.
- Set-up all necessary equipment in accordance with operational and training and guidelines and safety procedures.
- Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
- Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.
- Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment on tanks.
- Must be willing to support all project needs for all DeBusk service lines, as required.
- Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job.
- Must be capable of supervising and managing multiple crews.
- Must be capable of completing field tickets and job logs.
- Must be capable of conducting field audits, “Toolbox Talks” and FLHAs.
- Must be become the liaison between field operations and the customer for updates.
- Must be a self-starter with a “go get it” attitude with a keen eye for safety.
**Qualifications**:
- Five (5) years plus of “sandblasting” experience is required.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess excellent communication and written skills in English.
- Refinery, Upgrading, Petrochemical plant experience is a MUST.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home.
- Must be willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours per day, 7 days a week if called upon.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments at high elevations.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lb. hoses.
- Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
- Physically capable of entering process equipment through manways.
- Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling continuously.
- Physically capable of climbing ladders and scaffolds (vertical and inclined) to heights more than 10ft.
- Physically capable of frequently crouching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and working above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine.
