**Core Purpose and Essence of the Position**:
The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklift trucks in the warehouse, and is

accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the truck inclusive of care and maintenance.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on assigned Forklift trucks.
- Maintain equipment as per checklist and retain appropriate forklift records.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following OHSA standards.
- Check quantity and if any damage found takes pictures and reports it
- Proficiently loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products using a forklift truck
- Signs the receiving receipts with date and time
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to Receiving Staging.
- Move product to storage locations upon completion of Receiving and efficiently stack and store
- such product in appropriate storage locations.
- Move product from storage locations to Shipping Processing as part of the ship order process.
- Subsequently, move such shipments to Shipping Staging and load them in to trucks/trailers.
- Move all products as needed, from/to storage locations, for processing as part of client Value
- Added Services.
- Ensure that stacking of pallets/product is done and maintained in an exemplary manner.
- Keep aisles and staging areas clear of product once processed.
- Assist in cycle count and physical inventories.
- Perform housekeeping and 5S duties.
