We are Making Sustainability Happen.

**Job Description**:

Key Responsibilities

**Your specific responsibilities will include**:

- Provide strategic and tactical advice to clients on requirements relating to environmental, health and safety management and compliance in the context of local, provincial, federal and/or international requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of environmental, health and safety compliance and management system due diligence documentation.
- Work with our existing Environmental Management, Permitting and Approvals and Environment, Social and Governance teams in other regions to develop opportunities and execute projects in environmental and social due diligence and monitoring.
- Conduct audits and assessments of environmental regulatory compliance and management systems.
- Collaborate with SLR’s Team Leads and Technical Discipline Managers to develop and implement strategic plans to build top line revenue.
- Help expand the scope of our service offering to mining, industrial, energy and infrastructure sector clients, with the aim of enhancing SLR’s market presence and client portfolio, and growing revenue with key clients.

Cultural fit and shared vision are very important to SLR. We want to grow our team around the right people. If you are practical, highly motivated and a team player, we'd love to hear from you.

**Here’s what else you’ll enjoy as part of our team**:

- Competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits, vacation, and a suite of wellness initiatives.
- Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree specializing in a related technical environmental and/or health & safety discipline (e.g., environmental science or engineering).
- 8+ years experience required in a relevant field, ideally in a consulting environment (i.e., corporate advisory, or consultancy).
- Ability to present to internal and external clients on environmental management systems and programs, including but not limited to ISO 14001.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong technical writing skills, with an ability to synthesize technical information and develop plain language summaries.
- Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulatory requirements.
