Calgary, Canada Canwest Concrete Cutting & Coring Inc. Full time

CanWest is hiring experienced **concrete cutter(s)** and **scanning technician(s).**

Concrete cutting previous experience includes but not limited to, the operation of core drills, scanners, slab saws and wall saws.

Scanning technician experience with Hilti and GSSI equipment is an asset. Intermediate computer skills and data analysis proficiency preferred.

**_*Wage will depend on experience_**

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Knowledgeable with technical/computer interface on many devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and coworkers
- Able to lift 50lbs of more
- 1+ years of coring and scanning concrete

**GPR Scanning**
- Use GPR equipment to locate unseen objects and utilities in concrete.
- Perform concrete scanning prior to cutting and/or coring operations.
- Work with concrete cutting crews to gain a general understanding of the concrete coring and cutting process.
- Using the training provided, improve expertise on reading scans, identifying objects, and providing comprehensive reports.

**Core Drilling**
- Inspect, operate and maintain core drill equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Using core drilling techniques to complete holes in various locations
- Utilize problem solving skills and ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
- Complete job-related paperwork

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Corring & Scanning: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
