Our stores are dedicated to helping local pets in need. We partner with local shelters,
rescues and charities for adoption events, in-store adoption and pet food bank programs, as
well as through our national donation drives and fundraising campaigns.

The Pet Valu family of stores is one of the largest retail operations in North America
dedicated to providing families with food and supplies for dogs, cats, companion birds, wild
birds, fish, reptiles and small animal.
We are looking for a self-driven motivated Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team for a rewarding career.
- Job requirements:

- Previous working experience in a retail customer service-related environment is required
- Knowledge of pet food and supplies preferred
- Familiarity with trending social media
- Proven adaptability to ongoing changing management tools, previous working experience with store automation programs
- Enthusiasm for learning and growth in pet care industry
- Willingness to take flexible schedule and ability to work shifts including some days but mostly evenings and weekends is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, communication and customer service skills is required
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual and ability to create and maintain a positive work environment

Ability to work independently without supervision
- Working knowledge of POS system
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively (required)
- Must be an animal lover

Must be able to work a variety of shifts including, days, evenings, and weekends

Must be able to travel to work between three locations as required ( Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice)
