This role will report to the Finance Controller.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Financial Analyst supports the Financial Planning and Analysis team in conducting financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting activities. This role is responsible for compiling management reporting and supporting the planning and budgeting process.
- Support the Financial Planning and Analysis team with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis and the annual budget.
- Prepare management reporting and analysis for review, including metrics, trends, KPI’s and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for decision-making.
- Assists with other finance responsibilities that may arise relating to month-end closing activities, the accounting function, and accounting policies.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests and participate in projects as required.
- Leverage analytics and technology to interpret results and articulate recommendations.
- Handle supplier payments on a weekly basis and payroll disbursement on a bi-weekly basis.
- Tax filing and payments.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- A university degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of dashboards, metrics, financial analysis, and trending.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Resourceful and proactive.
- Works effectively in teams.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Prior experience with ERP’s, Power BI, financial analytics or similar would be an asset.

$50,000- $78,000 Annually Pending on Skillset and experience

Pending on qualifications and experience

Pay: $50,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
