**Position**: CNC Machine Operator

Projects include custom metal fabrication, structural & misc steel, pressure vessels, tanks, welding, and so on.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Set up & operation of CNC brake presses and shears
- Read and follow fabrication drawings
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output to produce high quality forming operations
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Take measurements and mark material for forming
- Determine and setup programs and forming dies specific to each job
- Ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures

**Abilities and Skills**:

- Overhead crane operation and material handling experience preferred
- Ability to read basic drawings
- Understanding of materials and hand tools
- Production or manufacturing background
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Familiarity with machine setups is considered a definite asset
- Ability to operate computers efficiently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$38.00 per hour
