About the Role
Located in Dunnville, Ontario, MJardin Group is looking to hire on-site Cultivation Technicians to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the grow operation and ensure compliance to Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations.
The Cultivation Technician role is responsible for the execution of cannabis cultivation, sanitation, and post-production tasks throughout the Brampton facility pursuant to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to all relevant SOPs related to the tasks, as directed by a Lead Grower and/or Management designate, including but not limited to cultivation tasks, sanitation tasks, and/or batch processing tasks
- Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and batch records as directed by the Lead Grower and/or Management
- Promptly report any deviations from SOPs to the Lead Grower for resolution
- Ensure safe work procedures are being followed and report hazards and unsafe work to Lead Grower or Health and Safety representative.
- Cultivation tasks may include, but are not limited to: Mother plant maintenance, taking cuttings, transplanting, trellising, pruning, harvesting, shucking, cleaning grow and workstations, maintenance, and monitoring of systems.
- Other ad hoc tasks as operationally required.

**Qualifications**:

- Previously demonstrated interest in horticulture and the openness to learn skills to provide proper plant health care in a highly regulated GPP environment
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to operate computers to input data and other standard office equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience working in a licensed cannabis facility, greenhouse, nursery, garden center, or agricultural experience, an asset.
- Comfortable lifting a minimum of 25lbs as well as physical dexterity to sit, squat, bend, lift, push, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Environmental Conditions
The Cultivation Technician is exposed to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides at the facility. As well as fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water.
