We are seeking a Manager, Audit Services - IT, to join our Audit Services team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Director of Audit Services - IT, you will work closely with the enterprise-wide audit team to execute business process and compliance-based IT Assurance & Advisory activities for all Emera affiliates across multiple jurisdictions, including Canada, the Caribbean, and the US.

**Key elements of this role include**:

- Executing affiliate IT Assurance and Advisory engagements and providing technical expertise in an advisory/consultation capacity.
- Maintaining relationships with affiliate IT teams, staying informed on risks and strategic initiatives impacting applicable affiliates, and gaining consensus regarding potentially contentious or sensitive items.
- Identifying process improvement and efficiency opportunities to support the organization's overall strategy to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes and to build organizational capacity.
- Monitoring remediation associated with previous audit issues and providing ongoing consultation on remediation approaches.
- Ensuring Audit Services' deliverables adhere to agreed budget and timelines and are shared with applicable management before finalization.
- Managing team members and reviewing their work to ensure adequacy of evidence and consistency in presentation to senior leadership.

**You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and possess many, if not all, of the skills and experience listed below**:

- Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or related business discipline, complemented by an IT-specific audit/risk certification (e.g., CISA, CISM, CGEIT) and related certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA).
- At least six years of direct or related audit or IT audit work experience.
- At least three years of indirect supervisory experience.
- Experience executing IT-specific internal audit work within a dynamic, complex organizational structure.
- Working knowledge of audit concepts and techniques and a broad understanding of enterprise risk, corporate governance, and process and control design.
- Working knowledge of core IT disciplines (e.g., infrastructure, computer operations, middleware, service management, etc.) and emerging risk areas (e.g., cloud, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, blockchain, etc.).
- Working knowledge of the utility industry's technology compliance requirements (e.g., NERC CIP).
- Experience with IT systems development and implementation, data management concepts knowledge, or ERP systems experience would be considered assets.
- Ability to assess risks and controls relating to IT systems and determine potential business impacts.
- Technical expertise and knowledge of current IT audit standards and techniques.
- Strong influencing, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to work inclusively with various individuals to achieve shared objectives and maintain effective business relationships.
- Ability to remain focused and deliver results in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Communication skills to translate business needs and challenges into viable and accepted IT solutions.
