**Our Arcadia Program - Rosewood Home in Red Deer is seeking a Live-in Female Housing Mentor**

The Arcadia program is for youths between 16 and 24 who have been homeless for three months or have a history of episodic homelessness that spans a significant portion of the last few years. Referrals are accepted based on youth without a permanent place of residence; living on the street, in shelters or places not intended or suitable for permanent residency; “couch surfing” or living off others for short periods of time. The program focus is client-centered and strength-based and works with each youth to establish goals and identify steps to achieving these goals. Once identified and accepted into the program, the youth will be provided with a thorough orientation to the services available.

**Minimum Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Knowledge and sensitivity to challenges that may affect youth housing.
- Willingness to engage and work with the youth and the housing coordinator.
- Intervention Record Check & Criminal Record Check including the vulnerable sector.
- Basic First Aid Level C with Adult, Child, and infant CPR &AED _(training can be provided internally for successful applicant)_
- Suicide Intervention Training & De-Escalation Training _(training can be provided internally for successful applicant)_
- Class 5 Divers License, Clean Drivers Abstract and reliable vehicle for occasional client transportation required.
