Gift Baskets

**Job purpose**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Taking orders over the phone
- Assembling custom and standard gift sets
- Assembling a variety of baskets to order: preparing boxes and labels
- Attractively packaging gift items, boxes, and baskets
- Ensuring the quality of product meeting the Italian Centre Shop Ltd.’s standards
- Assisting in the Grocery department when required to fill customer orders

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- High School or GED from an accredited school system or program is preferred.

**Experience**:
**Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a professional image at all times
- Work independently with little direct supervision
- High level of attention to detail
- Have a well-balanced concern for both task and people
- Have a genuine concern for needs of customers

**Working conditions**

Job requires employee to work a variety of shifts including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job also requires employee to work with challenging customers and/or situations.

**Physical requirements**

Job requires a variety of standing, walking and sitting.

Job also includes manual and repetitive tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evenings
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T6H 6A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
