**What we are looking for**:
Join the Recruitment Team at Oak Valley Health in this exciting and challenging role of Recruitment Assistant. Reporting to the Manager of Recruitment, the Recruitment Assistant will work closely with the Recruitment Specialists supporting them in various aspects of the recruitment process and supporting recruitment initiatives.
**Responsibilities include**:
Provide support to the recruitment team which includes posting/updating job postings and interview questions, and scheduling interviews
Provide general information to applicants regarding employment opportunities, status of recruitment process
Providing administrative support to the team
Assisting in advertising of job postings on various sites
Provide support for job fairs, open houses and circuit interviews
Assist with recruitment for special programs such as extern program
Participating in other recruitment and human resources initiatives and projects as needed
**What you bring to the role**:
Degree or diploma in Human Resources
Previous recruitment experience preferred
Previous customer service and human resources experience, hospital experience preferred
Experience and or knowledge with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS
Experience in a high pressure, fast paced work environment
Proficient computer skills using MS Office and social media
Current membership in the HRPA is preferred
CHRP designation or willingness to complete
Excellent communication, critical thinking, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Strong multitasking and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
**Work Schedule**:
Monday to Friday days (0830-1630). Schedules may change based on operational needs.
Hybrid model of in the office and remote work.
**Compensation**:
**Band T**: $24.26 -$27.29 per hour
