The Tahini’s **Restaurant Manager **Position is designed to be the location’s leader and secondary day-to-day operator.

Overseeing a wide range of daily activities from business practice to daily procedures under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring quality production of goods and inventory, as well as guiding a team of crew members through day-to-day operations in a safe work environment and be a model employee of the brand.

The Restaurant Manager, reporting to the General Manager, is also responsible for ensuring that the business delivers high-quality food and beverage products and leading Tahini’s vision of above and beyond customer service. The Restaurant Manager must set the exemplary standard for guest satisfaction for their staff by role modeling the expectations of the staff that work for them in the store;
- Be enthusiastic, energetic, and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift while motivating and leading the team.
- Be professional and hospitable while promoting Tahini’s brand
- Ensure every guest receives the Tahini’s experience and leaves eager to return
- Give the guest suggestions & recommendations based on their wants or needs
- Get to know regular guests’ preferences as well as identify opportunities to introduce guests to new offerings or options
- Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed

**However, it also includes activities common to business managers within any sector, including overseeing**:

- Human resources: training, menu execution
- Assisting and developing local store marketing initiatives
- Day to day opening, operating, and closing of the business as per specification
- Driving sales through exceptional execution and customer service
- Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and all working areas
- Upholding the highest level of sanitation standards
- Efficiently coordinating, organizing, and executing daily and weekly catering orders.

**Daily Roles and Responsibilities of a Tahini’s **Restaurant** **Manager**
- Day to day Restaurant operations
- Accurately complete all food orders
- Complete all food production sheets
- Monitor daily prep production of food
- Provide team leadership and direction
- Provide staff development and training, brand awareness
- Accountable for supporting and enforcing company standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
- Aid the General Manager in-store cash handling, daily cash reporting and balancing
- Ensure all staff are executing guest service model
- Manage the Restaurant’s weekly inventory
- Ensure all catering orders are prepped, executed, and delivered appropriately
- Responsible for logging all fridge temperatures daily during preset intervals
- Responsible for learning and executing the recipes to brand standard and being able to train new employees on each item
- Ensure that the guests’ needs are always the priority

**Qualifications**
- Must be able to read, write, communicate in English and have basic math skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) Systems and functionality
- Minimum of 2 years of QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or Restaurant Manager experience
- Certification in Food Safety Course and W.H.M.I.S.
- Creative, energetic, with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility with schedule must be able to do shift work and adhere to fluctuating business levels and needs
- Must be able to perform at a high pace in a stressful environment
- Effective communication skills with the hourly and management team
- Understanding of F.I.F.O. and product yield

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
