- Housekeeping / Laundry Aide Job Posting

Place: St. Paul

Time and Type: Part-Time and Casual

Job Description Responsibilities- Reliable and punctual-
- Cleans and disinfects using specified cleaning / disinfecting / agents, and-
- follows specific procedures, work patterns, and routines,-
- Vacuuming, sweeping, dry and wet mopping,-
- scrubbing, sanitizing, and disinfecting floors;-
- spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors between washing;-
- dusting, emptying wastebaskets-
- Rearranging furniture-
- Removing waste daily-
- Cleaning and disinfecting all resident rooms-
- Cleaning dining rooms, closets-
- Garbage collection, recycling-
- Deep cleaning of rooms and windows-
- Sorting washing, folding of laundry, and following established laundry routines-
- Ensures privacy of residents during performance of duties-
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, and safety-
- Cooperates with other departments with such tasks as transferring residents' rooms, moving and storing supplies, furniture, and equipment-
- Participates in company meetings as assigned. Attends in-service education programs**Qualifications**:
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.-
- Considerable lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, moving equipment and climbing ladders.-
- Exposure to biochemical agents and wet floors. Ability to read and write English and follow simple written and verbal instructions in English.-
