This is an indoor/outdoor position. **_ (permanent)_** **_ Total Work Hours: At-least 30 hours per week_** **_ Pay Rate: Starting at $22.00 per hour, Wage after 3 months: $24.00 per hour_** **_ Shift: Day-time_** **_ Start Date: As soon as possible_** **_ Location: Port Coquitlam_** **Forklift license and First aid (completion prior to end of probation) required.** The position’s primary role is to efficiently receive, manage and process all types of material that we recover at our facility. Responsibility includes loading and unloading trucks, sorting & dismantling materials and other various warehouse duties. The role also requires to do short pick-ups with an 18" cube truck and assist drivers on jobs at customer locations. **Duties include**: - Unloading and loading trucks - Relief driver (18 cube truck) - Sorting, dismantling and processing electronics and mixed recyclables - Operating machine equipment - baler, paper shredder, hanger shredder, wire stripper, conveyor belt. - Handling materials with the use of forklift, pallet jack or by hand - Back up on-site operations as and when required - Providing excellent customer service - Follow Health & Safety procedure - Cleaning up the warehouse and yard - Other related duties **Requirements**: - Forklift Certificate min. 2 years experience - Class 5 Driving License minimum 5 years experience with clean driving record - Level 1 Industrial First Aid Certificate - Completion (prior to end of probation) - TDG Certificate - Completion (prior to end of probation) - WHIMIS - Completion prior to end of probation - Able to take directions well - Willingness to be trained and learn new things - Manual Dexterity - Excellent customer service skills - Physically able to stand for long period of time - Organized and results oriented - Aligns with our CLEER core values **Citizenship | Leadership | Environment | Empowerment | Responsibility** **Benefits** - Competitive wage - Extended benefits plan for full time employees (50% covered by HSR Services after 6 months of service) - Being part of a growing company that puts people and the environment first
