The Manager, Knowledge Mobilization, oversees the development and mobilization of the Knowledge Institute’s knowledge products and activities aimed at ensuring evidence-informed decision-making in Ontario’s community child and youth mental health and addictions sector. The Manager, Knowledge Mobilization, builds and maintains relationships with key partners and networks to support evidence-based policy and practice and is a provincial resource for agency leaders and service providers. The Manager, Knowledge Mobilization will contribute to the implementation of strategic and operational activities of the Knowledge Institute and provide leadership and ongoing mentoring and coaching to program staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the development and mobilization of evidence-based knowledge products to address the knowledge needs of the child and youth mental health and addictions sector- Oversee and ensure alignment of existing products and services with the province’s current priorities- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring appropriate resource allocations for the various projects.- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of partners working within the child and youth mental health and addictions sector to support evidence-based policy and practice- Provide consultation and expert advice on knowledge mobilization to Knowledge Institute staff- Provide strategic input and advice to the Knowledge Institute’s leadership team on challenges and opportunities related to the knowledge needs of the child and youth mental health and addictions sector.- In consultation with the Manager, Communications, ensure timely and appropriate communications for promotion of Knowledge Institute products and services, including presentations at conferences or meetings with external partners.- Perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all CHEO corporate/departmental policies and procedures related to Occupational Health and Safety.- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS- Police Record Check (PRC) (Essential)- Master’s degree in social sciences (social work, psychology, education, etc.) (Essential)- Minimum five (5) years related experience (preferred)- Minimum three (3) years of experience in child and youth mental health and addictions, knowledge mobilization, organizational change, evidence-informed practices, some of which was in a leadership role (Essential)- Demonstrated experience in people and budget management (Essential)- Demonstrated experience with project management and facilitation (Essential)- Demonstrated experience in knowledge mobilization and dissemination within the child and youth mental health and addictions sector and/or related sectors (Essential)- Strong understanding of research methodologies and the critical appraisal of literature (Essential)- Sound understanding of organizational learning and change management (Essential)- Experience in and understanding of Ontario’s current mental health and addictions system and priorities (preferred)- High degree of interpersonal skills and proven ability to deal effectively with internal and external partners (Essential)- Bilingualism - French and English (preferred)
