**JOB SUMMARY**:
Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, the role will focus on food services and meal preparation tasks to support the thriving food rescue and distribution program that provides ingredients for twice-daily meal services, daily school meal distribution, meals on wheels deliveries, and our market-style food bank.

The position will be primarily office-based.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the food rescue program.
- Prepping and serving meals on site.
- Preparing and assembling meals for distribution.
- Keeping the kitchen and food pantry tidy and safe, including sweeping, mopping and cleaning surfaces.
- Assisting with food programs including School Lunch Program, Food Hamper Program, Food Market and in-house meal services.
- Food sorting and repurposing.
- Helping volunteers and coworkers in supporting the food needs of clients.

Pay: $25.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
