The General Manager is responsible for the overall management (financial, operational, and administrative) of the specific branch office to which the incumbent is assigned. Typically, this role oversees a large branch with multiple divisions, and may supervise a Branch Manager(s) in addition to other branch operations staff.

**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:

- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch office, including client relations, new job startups/transitions of new accounts, and employee relations
- Ensure client relations are maintained within company standards, including regular contact with clients, proactive problem resolution, and oversight regarding daily client issues
- Manage day to day operations of the branch, specifically coaching, developing, and guiding the branch staff to perform efficiently and effectively; provide direct supervision of staff, ensure company policies and procedures (including reports and other measurement tools) are in place and being followed, administer coaching and disciplinary actions, and provide support to branch staff in execution of their job duties

**Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required**:

- High school diploma or equivalent

**Type and Length of Specific Experience Required**:

- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of protective service-related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities
