**The Role**:

KMH Cardiology Centres Inc. is growing and we are recruiting for an _evening _and _weekend_ Medical Receptionist for our busy practise in **Mississauga**.
**The Accountabilities**:
The goal of this position is to provide an outstanding service experience to patients at our labs. The key accountabilities of the role include:
- Act as a first point of contact for patients during their in-clinic experience. Greet patients and visitors as they arrive. Accurately register patients by obtaining complete demographics, insurance information and consent.
- Achieve performance based targets and KPI’s for the team. Optimize clinic capacity by ensuring tasks including New bookings + Rescheduling + Cancellation + Arrivals + Upload Reports are completed in a timely manner within pre-defined KPI’s for team.
- Utilize Tableau daily to facilitate KPI attainment
- Manage patient check-ins, enquiries and phone calls. Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow ups
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction through a high quality service approach
- respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner.
- Facilitate patient flow by communicating patients' arrival. Build rapport with patients by responding to inquiries and communicate next steps to patient.
- Maintain attention to detail for all medical records. Scan documents into patient charts.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed per check in protocols.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling patient requirements to be dealt with efficiently.
- Complete MRI bookings administration tasks including confirmations, chart checks and phone calls.
**The Requirements**:
- Medical office experience
- Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, customer centred experience
- Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced environment
- Ability to establish priorities and achieve objectives with mínimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior telephone etiquette
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in technology including MS Office
- EMR systems experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with a high degree of privacy and diplomacy
- Team orientation
- The ability to provide occasional coverage at other KMH locations is an asset

The Reception team takes pride in our client focused environment and works very closely with other service and clinical teams at KMH. This role has extensive face to face patient interaction.
This is a part-time role that is scheduled as below:
Wednesday: 3.00 p.m.9.30 p.m.
Thursday: 3.00 p.m.9.30 p.m.
Friday: 3.00 p.m.9.30 p.m.
Saturday: 6.45 a.m.5.45 p.m. (Alternate weeks)
Sunday 6.45 a.m.5.45 p.m. (Alternate weeks)
Due to the nature of the role, some schedule flexibility is required.
This role reports to the Team Lead: Reception West and is part of a team of 18 members.
