**Position overview**
Reporting to the Director, Terminal Operations and Facilitation, the **Manager, Commercial Services (Parking and Ground Transportation (PGT)) **ensures that parking and ground transportation programs and operations are properly planned, resourced, and ready for successful delivery. If you are an independent, self-starter with the demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, and develop creative solutions in support of real time operations and the execution stage of construction projects, we have an opportunity for you.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Plan, oversee and monitor the day-to-day operations of the Airport’s PGT services, focusing on safety and operational excellence
- Create operational plans for peak periods, irregular operations, major construction impacts and introduction of new services and technologies
- Manage several large service contracts for operating the Airport’s parking and curbside services.
- Develop and maintain an audit plan for the authorities parking program to ensure necessary controls are in place and adhered to by staff
- Contribute to the development of the strategic plan both in the long and short-term allowing the department to meet its goals related to operational efficiency and innovation, customer experience and revenue generation
- Work with engineering and project management leads, provides business owner input and expertise in the design and planning of new PGT facilities
**Key qualifications include**:
- At least five years of recent, related operational decision-making experience, including three years of leadership experience, supplemented by a post-secondary degree, preferably in Business or Operations Management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Developing, managing, monitoring, and reporting on SOPs, service contracts and program KPIs
- Demonstrated experience managing an operational expense budget, forecasting expenses and providing variance explanations
- Participating in, or overseeing, special projects and other assignments
**Salary Range **:$100,640 to $144,670 per annum, based on a 37.5 hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity. Performance-Based Incentive: Eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
