The Role:
What your day looks like:
Provides technical support and customer experience for Sonderly LMS to include but not limited to:
- Instructs users on the enrollment, profile update, course completion, and certificate access when necessary
- Provides instructions to users on navigating the LMS and the online courses
- Provides support to users on hosting webinars, using Adobe Connect, Zoom, or other Video Communication tools
- Coordinate with the LMS vendor and the content development team to address any bugs and unexpected errors within the LMS and in the course design
- Publish new courses and update existing courses provided by the content development team
- Participate in identifying opportunities for continuous system and process improvements
- Assists with the creation of online modules using popular course authoring tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline & Adobe Captivate)
- Maintain the track of uploaded courses, materials, and tests
- Edits audios and videos as required
Manage the day-to-day operations of the GCA’s website to include but not limited to:
- Facilitates webpage design, content updates, and layout changes to GCA’s website
- Evaluate the website’s SEO performance and collaborate with the marketing department to implement SEO strategies
- Establish and maintain web design standards and best practices and ensure the website compliant with the AODA legislation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish a website update schedule
- Design newsletters, brochures, flyers, and other collateral material
Supports the Director of Technology and Innovation with other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role:
- Post-secondary education in related field or formal technical education
- 2 years of demonstrated working with learning technology platforms and customer service
- Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand is an asset
- Working knowledge with popular e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Superior ability to work well with others and be an effective team member
- Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
