The machine vision expert has deep experience developing and designing custom models in Tensorflow pertaining to machine vision. They have knowledge of convolutional neural networks, binary classifiers, and other types of deep learning techniques.

They have knowledge of networks such as YoloV8, EfficientNet, ResNet,MobileNet, SSD (single shot detector), and would be able to design their own network drawing upon knowledge of these networks.

When given a task, they can then develop a custom model drawing upon known techniques to setup the requisite network and then train it using a GPU based computer which they will have access to.

They can ensure that the network is using a limited subset of operators and is designed for hardware accelerated execution in embedded environments.

They have knowledge of how to setup training data, how to prune and modify datasets, how to select appropriate loss functions, and then monitor training to determine whether the model is achieving good results.

The job is in the field of stereo vision:
1) Using Coco dataset develop a high speed detector that can get bounding boxes on up to 50 objects. The detector should be quantized and optimized for execution on the NPU. To do this they will have to reverse engineer the Mobilenet network and modify it for speed and accuracy to take advantage of NPU acceleration.

2) Using Coco pose detection, they have to develop a highly accurate model to find equivalent key points in two stereo images. Currently, pose detection is giving too high a variability in stereo images, they will design a model that can achieve pin point accuracy in extracting the identical keypoints from two different images.
