Supply Chain Planner

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY**
As part of Supply Chain team, you will provide direct support to the production area assisting them to meet their obligations to the customer and to the business by producing product on time and at quoted rates. The production lines you schedule will be considered your primary customer.
**High Level Purpose of Role**
- Planning and sequencing to maximize OEE, reliability and utilization metrics
- Ensuring data and communication is managed to the highest standards
- Owning and accepting accountability to the process you are assigned to
**SPECIFIC DUTIES**
1) Review FG order activity while monitoring progress to plan
2) Maintain an active presence on the floor
3) Maintain accurate and timely information in JDE or otherwise relevant systems to ensure accurate and clean data integrity.
4) Produce and publish work schedules for the assigned work centers indicating sequence, quantities and required dates.
5) Provide regular capacity snapshots for machine centers and labour needs.
6) Assist Master Scheduler with reporting service levels at operations meeting
7) Aggressively seek ways to improve existing process
8) Plan and schedule MFG as needed to support special promotions, launches or requests.
9) Create, Edit and advise on SOP’s directly related to this job function
10) Create and circulate CRF’s as needed ensuring timely approval and implementation of changes
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**
- Min 5 years planning or equivalent Supply Chain experience.
- College certificate/diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous production planning experience
- Demonstrated leadership
- Lean experience an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written skills a must.
- Advance proficiency at Microsoft office package.
- APIC’s courses and/or accreditation an asset.
