**Rope Access Event Crew Member**

Over the Edge, a global leader in urban rappelling events, is launching **Altitude Zones,**our new permanent event locations. We’re looking for **skilled, energetic Rope Access Event Crew Members** to join our Halifax crew and help deliver unforgettable, safe, and high-impact experiences.

What You'll Do
- **Rigging & Safety**: Set up and operate rappelling systems—ropes, harnesses, and safety gear—ensuring all equipment meets our strict safety standards.
- **Participant Support**: Guide guests through their descent with confidence, encouragement, and clarity.
- **Event Flow**: Work as part of a tight-knit team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe event execution.
- **Troubleshooting**: Stay alert, adapt quickly, and solve technical issues on the fly to keep things running safely and seamlessly.

**What You Bring**
- Experience in rope access, climbing, rappelling, fire service, or a similar field (1-5+ years preferred)
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and rope safety gear
- SPRAT or IRATA Level I certification is a encouraged **NOT**required
- Strong communication and people skills
- Calm, confident, and safety-focused under pressure
- Comfortable working at heights for extended periods

**Job Details**
- **Part-time**:

- **Flexible schedule**: weekday and weekend availability
- **Expected hours**: Based off availability & event schedule 4-12 per week
- **On-site role** In Halifax, NS (B3H 2P6)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week

**Benefits**:

- Flexible schedule

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Rope : 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SPRAT/IRATA Certification (preferred)

**Location**:
