**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our family. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our child who lives with a disability. Your primary focus will be on fostering their development through structured activities, play, and individualized attention. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children with disabilities and possess experience and training in early childhood education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement developmentally-appropriate activities that promote movement, learning and development.
- Provide care and support to our child, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding our child’s progress and any concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children with disabilities (e.g. ABA)
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create engaging activity and lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children with disabilities.
- Must pass background checks as required.
- Experience teaching children with disabilities how to swim is an asset.
- Driver’s license with a car preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Every Weekend

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-11-23
