**About us**

The Sheen for She Foundation is a registered women's charity, and the first of its kind in Canada. In only two years of active service, the Sheen for She Foundation delivered north of 10,000 Perseverance Aid Kits to at-risk women and youth, partnered with over 80 women's organizations and shelters, and had an outreach spanning the GTA and local rural communities in Ontario. The Perseverance Aid Project (PAP) successfully reduced rates of violence, anxiety, feelings of powerlessness, and produced evidence-based learnings in support of Sheen for She's self-care mission.

The Sheen for She Foundation has been recognized and featured in CBC, Global News, The Toronto Star, Lifestyle Magazine, Omni News, BlogTO, York University, Arizona State University, and more.

**As a Holiday Onsite Volunteer your responsibilities would include**:

- A minimum 10-hours shift per week (normally on the weekends)
- Providing hands-on assistance and direction for all activities and projects
- Communicating any pertinent information regarding project timelines, goals, or objectives to team members
- Training novice team members
- Running community errands
- Performing other related duties as required

**Desired expertise and skills**:

- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to lead
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to create a culture of collaboration among colleagues and other team members at all departmental levels
