We, a progressive fish processing plant located in Surrey, BC, are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail orientated Freezer Forklift Driver to join our team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Include, but are not limited to.**
- Complete pre-shift forklift sheets.
- Efficiently and accurately load and unload trailers, trucks & containers - fresh and frozen product.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing product.
- Accurately complete TDU inspections.
- Put product away.
- Freezer Management.
- Load racks.
- Accurately write tote tags.
- Be able to lift 30-50 lbs.
- Have knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) procedure.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Have a valid Forklift certification with 3+ years of forklift operation experience.
- Have shipping and receiving experience.
- Have inventory control experience.
- Have freezer management experience.
- Have counterbalance forklift driving experience.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Be an analytical problem solver with an ability to think quickly and perform problem-solving tasks, even within changing conditions.

- Be a team player who firmly believes in the strengths of shareable knowledge.
- Have strong communication skills, with an innate positive attitude that is both personable and professional.
- Have an innovative approach to continuous improvements.
- Have good math skills.
- Be reliable and punctual in attendance.
- Be available to work weekends, when required.
- Be available to join the rotation between day shift and afternoon shift.
- Be flexible, as start and end times can change.

**DESCRIPTION OF WORK CONDITIONS**:

- Temperature is up to -25°c, with some wind chill when the fans are running.

- Starting wage: $20hour or higher, depending on the experience.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
