**Mechanical Superintendent**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must have at least 5 years in a superintendent role.**:

- ** Must have at least 10 years of mechanical construction experience.**:

- ** Must be able to plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned.**:

- ** Hours: Project dependent.**:

- ** Must be willing to working evenings and weekends.**:

- **Must be willing to work overtime.**:

- ** Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- ** Plan, schedule, direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned.**:

- ** Provide leadership and training to General Foreman, Foreman and other field staff.**:

- Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely.
- Plan the construction function to establish an affective organization.
- Direct the overall construction program of the project.
- Ensure project is meeting construction schedule.
- Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site.

**Experience and Certifications**:

- ** A minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role.**:

- ** 10 years of mechanical construction experience is required.**:

- Strong communication skills.
- Equipment Operator experience or other field experience is an asset.
- Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
- ** Valid driver's license - Driver's Abstract is required.**:

- Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing may be required.

**Education**: Completion of high school is required.
