About the Team
The Risk Governance Operations Team is responsible for perceiving and reducing bad ads prevalence through content and actor risk strategy management and risk platforms enhancement. We aim to provide proactive and precise operations to preserve TikTok as a safe, positive and welcoming environment for our users.
We are looking for a Risk Strategy & Operations Manager to design risk control strategies for TikTok commercial ads. This includes content security, behavioral risks, and post-link user experience based on historical data, expert insights, and local public opinion or legal regulatory trends.
**Responsibilities**:
- Interpret, analyze, and assess critical risks, emergency situations, and potential challenges. Develop and implement risk control operational plans and balance business revenue objectives with effective risk control
- Drive the integrity solution and attribute the fluctuations of risk metrics, and quantify the differentiation power of risk features to provide a more accurate basis for governance actions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, RD, data science, accumulate and leverage risk mitigation and security capabilities to design and establish intelligent risk governance products, processes, and mechanisms
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, product operations or related
- 2+ years of experience in risk management within the internet or related industries, demonstrating a keen insight into risks and rapid response capabilities
- Strong proficiency in data-driven operations, solid foundation in statistics, and adept use of data statistical tools such as SQL/Hive/Spark. Prior experience with common programming languages like Python/R is preferred
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to efficiently drive project implementation
- Fluency or proficiency in Mandarin, for product launches and communication with external stakeholders

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is CAD$ 93000- CAD$ 190000 annually.
The compensation for this position is based on a monthly compensation structure. The range specified is the expected annual compensation for a person in this position.

**Our time off and leave plans are**: 11 paid holidays per year plus 15 days of vacation (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 7 paid sick days per year as well as 13 weeks of supplemental paid maternity leave top-up and 10 weeks of Supplemental Paid Parental Leave top-up.
