**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**: McDougall Energy has a key role to fill in our Corporate Operations division. We are seeking an individual to join our fleet maintenance management team in the position of **Fleet Maintenance Planner**. This position is located in **St. Thomas Ontario**, supporting our Southern Ontario operations.
Reporting to the Corporate Cost to Serve & Fleet Maintenance Manager, the responsibilities for this role include:
- Coordinate planned and unplanned repairs of vehicles and on-board equipment with external service providers
- Conveying company standards / expectations for repair and documentation
- Monitors compliance with inspections, maintenance standards, etc.
- Costing reviews / validation of billing
- Assists with adherence to regulatory compliance items and preventative maintenance schedules
- Routine travel to visit our Southern Ontario operating hubs and the service providers who support them to develop business relationships and to monitor condition of vehicles.
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
- Technical understanding of heavy vehicles and transportation experience
- Supervisory or trades experience in a truck or heavy equipment service organization
- Fuel handling experience would be an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance approaches
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adjust to changing business needs
