We are looking for a weekender to join our team

We opened Summer 2025, **Squamish Canyon** will be a world-class destination offering a breathtaking canyon walkway and immersive forest experience in the spectacular Sea to Sky Corridor. We are building a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences — and maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment is key to our success.

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking **Cleaning Crew**to join our opening team.

As a Cleaner, you will play an essential role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and beauty of all public spaces throughout Squamish Canyon. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting environment will help shape the first and lasting impressions of our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

Daily Cleaning & Maintenance
- Perform daily janitorial duties according to the assigned schedule.
- Tidy, vacuum, sweep, and mop all public areas including offices, bathrooms, boardwalks, and outdoor spaces.
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms to maintain guest and staff comfort.

Safety & Reporting
- Practice safe work procedures at all times and immediately rectify and/or report any safety hazards.
- Change garbage and recycling bins daily and maintain waste management areas.
- Report any maintenance or supply issues promptly to your supervisor.

Team Support
- Assist with additional tasks around Squamish Canyon as needed to support smooth operations.
- Contribute positively to a team environment focused on safety, cleanliness, and hospitality.

**Qualifications**
- Strong sense of discretion, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated to create a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for guests and staff.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in attendance and performance.
- Professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods, including bending, crouching, and kneeling. (This is a physically demanding role.)
- WHMIS certification (preferred but not mandatory)

**Work Conditions**
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical stamina is required for standing, walking, lifting, and performing manual tasks for long periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is part of daily responsibilities.
