Interior HomeCare Solutions is an established healthcare company in the Thompson Okanagan that has been providing healthcare services for over 25 years. As our company continues to grow, we are requiring additional staff in our accounting department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate and up to date accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliation as needed
- Prepare and process month end invoices
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Prepare payroll as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment-related issues
- Effectively receive and provide feedback to improve processes
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures as required

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as an accounting assistant or equivalent education
- Experience with payroll an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in basic accounting principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and busy office environment
- Detail-orientated with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
